# We know the show. You run it.

Throughline is a production OS for film and television, built to extend the
experts who run a production — never to run it for them. It gives a show one
system of record in place of the spreadsheet-and-group-chat stack usually
assembled by hand — script breakdowns, schedules, budgets, approvals,
deliveries, crew — plus assistants that work over that record on the
office's behalf. The judgment calls stay with the experts; Throughline makes
their reach longer and their picture complete.

## One graph, not six tools

Every scene, character, location, asset, and department on a production is a
node in a single production **graph**. A prop links to the scenes it appears
in, the department that owns it, and the approval that cleared it — so a
schedule change, a script revision, or a budget line is never an isolated
edit. It is a change to the same graph everyone else is looking at.

That matters because film and TV production is coordination-heavy by nature:
dozens of departments, hundreds of assets, and a schedule that can move
underneath all of it on a phone call. Throughline's job is to keep the
record straight while people do the work, not to be another place work has
to be copied into.

## What's in it

- **Script and breakdown.** Scenes, sluglines, revision colors, and the
  elements tagged to each one — cast, props, locations, and more — kept in
  sync with the graph.
- **Departments.** Every department gets its own view: its assets, its
  people, its open approvals, its deliveries in and out.
- **Approvals.** Structured decision chains — who signs off, in what order,
  and what happens when they do or don't.
- **Budgets and POs.** Department envelopes, purchase orders, and spend
  reporting against a live topsheet.
- **Schedule.** Shoot days, call times, and the scenes assigned to each one.
- **An assistant.** A department-aware assistant that can answer questions
  about the production, draft notes, and — with the right authority — take
  action inside the graph, always as an accountable person's delegate.

## Who it's for

Throughline is built for the people actually running a production: UPMs,
department heads, coordinators, and the crew who report to them. It is not a
general-purpose project tool retrofitted for film — the objects on screen
(scenes, call sheets, POs, approval chains) are the objects a production
office already works in.

Throughline is in **private pilot**. Access is invite-based — see
